Out of the ashes of that epic weekend came a couple of engagements, a bunch of kids, and some even more legendary stories…

Even though some couldn’t make it, it was still great to catch up for a repeat of sorts.

A couple of months later I’ve finally managed to get some photo’s up (wish I’d taken more, especially of Tarawera Falls).

These changes were mainly aimed at letting me easily put iPhone content includng video on the site, at least thats how it all started…

As it turns on there is no easy way to put up video, and stay with my current hosting provider – Yahoo Hosting.  There’s just too many limits and boundaries, which just aren’t going to cut it anymore.  As a result I’ve decided to break out and host it myself at home.  This has meant a shitload on new learning and development, and I thought I may as well give the site a new look at the same time.

We’ve been riding out at Woodhill for a few months now, the boys started off on Nature Valley (just over 6km’s), but now they’ve graduated to Auckland Eye, which is about a 10km loop.  Its been amazing for both their bike skills and confidence, even though Reed has bitten the dust a couple of times trying to get some air.

The only thing he sucked at this year was folk dancing (he got a D) but in the scheme of things, who cares…

Watching him run (literally) up onto the stage with a beaming smile on his dial is something you just don’t get to see every day…
